All of your goodies will be packaged and dispatched as safely as possible. Please bear in mind that due to the current global pandemic, there may be significant delays with your goodies arriving. Each country has their own measures in place for the postal service, so please check with your local postal service for any delays or issues.

 

UK SHIPPING

All shipping costs are based on weight and calculated at the checkout.

Your order will be posted within 1-3 working days of receiving payment to allow time for your order to be made and packaged. After your order has been dispatched, it will take between 1-5 working days for it to arrive with you. Please use this as only a guide.

Next Day Delivery
If you're in a hurry to receive your order, at the checkout you can choose to upgrade your postage to Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm. All shipping costs are based on weight and calculated at the checkout.

If you order before 1pm Mon - Fri this will be posted the same day of purchase. If you order after 1pm Mon - Fri or weekends and bank holidays, your order will be shipped on the next working day. This service is recommended for all orders over £30 so you can track your goodies all the way to your door.

Lost Orders
Unfortunately, items occasionally go missing in the post, so if you have not received your order within 14 working days of shipping, please get in touch and a replacement or refund will be organised. During busy times of year, such as Christmas, your order may take an extra couple of days to arrive.

Your Dottie's goodies will be packaged with care and tucked away in a cardboard envelope or box to ensure it arrives with you safely.

Please note that weekends and holidays are excluded from processing and shipping times.

Tracked Shipping
If you're in a hurry to receive your order, at the checkout you can choose to upgrade your postage to Royal Mail International Tracked. Please note that this does not speed up the delivery of your goodies, it just allows you to track them right to your door. This service is recommended for all international orders.

There may be customs or duty fees depending on the country in which your items are being delivered. You, the customer, are responsible for any fees incurred by customs or other authorities.

ORDERING FROM WITHIN THE EU

As of 1 July 2021, orders made from countries within the EU are no longer exempt from VAT. For Dottie's Paper Co. to continue selling to countries within the EU, I would need to either appoint an EU-established intermediary to fulfil the VAT obligations and collect the VAT at the checkout or continue as normal which means you will be charged VAT and a service charge when your goodies arrive in your country. Unfortunately neither of these options work for this shop, because appointing an EU-established intermediary is incredibly costly and in the second scenario, your goodies may be delayed, as well as an extra service charge on top of the VAT, which sucks!

So instead of stopping shipping to all you lovely humans within the EU, please head over to the Dottie's Paper Co. Etsy store where you will be charged VAT at the checkout and should avoid any extra delays during shipping!

TRACKING NUMBERS

Both UK and International standard shipping does not come with a tracking number. If you would like to track your goodies all the way to your letterbox, please upgrade your shipping to a tracked service at the checkout. If you have upgraded to tracked shipping and haven't received your tracking number, I'm super sorry! Please get in touch and your tracking number will be sent over.

 

RETURNS

If for any reason you are not happy with any of your items, then a full refund can be made, as long as the item has been returned in its original packaging within 14 days from the date your items was delivered. Return postage is at your own  expense, however a tracked service is recommended. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Refunds cannot be returned to alternate forms of payment. If you would like to exchange an item, there will be an additional delivery charge for the new item.

To arrange a refund or exchange please email hello@dotties.co with your name, order number and details of the item(s) you'd like to return. Please don’t return items without getting in touch first.

All refunds will be processed within 7 working days of the return being received and refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Please note that personalised items are none refundable. 

 

PRE ORDERS

If you are purchasing pre-order goodies, please be aware that they are not currently in stock. Each pre-order item has the estimated arrival date written in the description of the listing, but there could be delays that are out of the control of Dottie’s Paper Co. You will be notified of any delays or issues of your pre-ordered item. Any in stock items ordered with a pre-ordered item will be shipped when your pre-ordered item is in stock. If you would like for your in stock items to be shipped earlier, please make sure to orderer them separately.

 

REFUSED AND UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

Please ensure that your delivery details are correct upon checkout to avoid any problems during delivery. Dottie's Paper Co. cannot be responsible for any orders that are undeliverable due to incorrect details.

If your item has been refused or undelivered due to incorrect details and would like it to be re-sent, please be aware that a shipping fee will be charged.
